Gerald Buckler, President of BIM Works, LLC, boasts a distinguished career spanning commercial construction and dedicated service to Maryland's public school system. His expertise is underscored by multiple "Best in State" awards from the MNCBIA, earned during his tenure as Director of Estimating and Design at Chesapeake Living Treasures and with Brooks Run Builders. He also founded Efficient Home Designs, a custom design/build firm. Gerald's professional credentials include certifications from the NAHB and NCBDC.


A decade of leadership at the Building Trades Foundation for St. Mary's County Public Schools, which he co-founded, resulted in a "Best Business Partnership" award from the Maryland Department of Education. His commitment to education extends to five years of teaching architectural drafting and design at the JFCTC and extensive volunteer work with SkillsUSA.


Gerald's contributions to St. Mary's County also include serving on the Building Code Review Board, where he influenced energy code requirements.
